Help lead the future growth and development of Branson.
In this role, you'll guide complex planning initiatives, shape community development,
and play a key leadership role in the City's long-term vision.
- Serve as the primary planning contact for major development projects, coordinating with applicants, departments, outside agencies, and community stakeholders.
- Oversee preparation of staff reports, public hearing materials, notices, presentations, and meeting agendas for boards and commissions.
- Review development plans and conduct inspections to ensure projects comply with zoning regulations, approved plans, and development standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to planning staff while helping improve processes, customer service, and development review workflows.
- A High School diploma or a General Education Diploma (GED) equivalent.
- Graduation from an institution of higher learning that is regionally accredited through the U.S. Department of Education with a bachelor's degree
in Architecture/Landscape, Urban Planning or closely related field.- Five (5) years of experience in planning or urban design.
