As a Security Officer Field Patrol in Amarillo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support guests and staff through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, retail location policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or customer concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor high-traffic areas and support loss prevention awareness by observing suspicious behavior and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Assist with access control, closing procedures, and/or after-hours presence checks while documenting daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
