Job Summary:

Consults with customers on a regular basis concerning design, development and maintenance of product. Coordinates installation procedures. Assists sales channel, field teams and customers with technical solutions to support the customer's business objectives.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Assists in analyzing data to determine feasibility of product proposal.
• Will implement Engineering Change Orders (ECO) to document and build process. Communicates Engineering Change Notifications (ECN) to production, sales, and customer engineering team.
• Will be required to integrate and document Order Specific Information (OSI), first article and prototype orders.
• EMEA DataGroup Analysts and ECO review Quote and update
• Implement and Quate ECO services and changes control requests.
• Resolves all technical and process related issues. Documents build process and trains production staff on customer requirements, as well as industry best practices. Consults with other technology staff to evaluate operational and performance requirements of overall design/prototype.
• Confers with customers and technology group to clarify and/or resolve problems. Prepares or directs preparation of product or system layout. Directs and coordinates building/manufacturing of product or system.
• Reviews change requests, evaluates impact of change, and provides implementation timelines.
• Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Mastery knowledge of industry best practices and disciplines. Considered a subject matter expert within the organization and contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques and standards.
• Develops solutions to highly complex and uniquely challenging situations. Assignments require extensive evaluation of alternatives and variables. Expected to make improvements to policies and procedures.
• Works independently toward long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated using independent judgment and discretion. May act as informal team lead and/or coach less experienced team members.
• Serves as consultant to management and/or internal/external spokesperson for the organization on major initiatives related to policies, plans and long-range objectives.
• Actions may impact the organization and its reputation. Effects of erroneous decisions may be long-lasting, influence the future course of the organization and/or require the expenditure of extensive additional resources.

Work Experience:

• Typically 8+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Leads complex interdepartmental process improvement teams. Champions commitment to continuous improvement by implementing process improvement methodologies and best practices.
• A+ Certification is required.
• Position will require travel (Passport required).
