- Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 (Dependent on Experience).
- Employment Type: Full-Time.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Manufacturing Manager who thrives in a fast-paced injection molding environment. This is not a purely administrative role—you will be deeply embedded in daily operations, working side-by-side with your team to drive performance, solve problems in real time, and ensure production goals are consistently met.
- Lead from the production floor—actively supporting molding operations, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Optimize personnel, materials, and equipment to consistently meet customer production goals and schedules.
- Step in as needed with hands-on technical work (tool setting, processing adjustments, light maintenance).
- Drive performance across key metrics: On-Time Delivery, Quality, Efficiency, and Cost.
- Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to increase yield and reduce cycle times.
- Coach, train, and develop team members through direct, hands-on leadership and real-time feedback.
- Identify operational gaps and implement practical, results-driven solutions.
- Partner with customers to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
- True hands-on leadership—you’ll be on the floor, not removed from it.
- Direct impact on production performance and business results.
- Opportunity to lead large-scale operations (30+ machines, multiple shifts).
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in plastic injection molding.
- Proven experience managing multiple shifts and large-scale operations (30+ machines).
- Strong technical expertise in processing, tooling, and troubleshooting.
- Leadership style rooted in accountability, coaching, and presence on the floor.
- Experience with ERP systems (IQMS preferred).
- Track record of meeting or exceeding OTD, quality, and efficiency goals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Established leader in custom injection molding with over 55 years of success.
- Advanced manufacturing environment with significant operational scale.
- A culture that values execution, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package, including:
- PTO, holidays, and vacation.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance (multiple plan options).
- FSA and 401(k) with company match.
- Company-paid life insurance, AD&D, and short-term disability.
- Optional long-term disability coverage.
- Employee referral bonuses.
- This description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
- Pre-employment background checks are required for all applicants who accept an offer. Offers are contingent upon a report which is acceptable to the company.
- The company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws.
