Description
Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (MSCP) is a leading middle-market private equity platform, focusing primarily on North America. MSCP invests primarily in control transactions via founder-led recapitalizations, growth equity investments, industry roll-ups, management buyouts, corporate carve-outs and platform builds.
Since 1986, the firm has achieved top quartile returns and created value through management and operational improvements, value add oversight, strategic add on acquisitions and thoughtful capitalization. Throughout its 30+ year history, MSCP has maintained a consistent middle-market focus, investing in companies across a broad range of industries including business services, industrial, consumer, health care, and education.
MSCP is currently investing out of Fund VIII, a $3.2B fund that closed in 2025 and is now actively being deployed.
As a middle-market private equity investment team with direct access to the capabilities and reputation of a leading global financial services firm, the team brings outsized resources to companies to help them thrive within their industries.
