As a Finance Partner you will lead finance partnering activities at management level across the Latam Operating Unit (OU), driving the strategic business plan for the business unit, supporting strategy and decision making with critical business insights and managing Corporate performance reporting.
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…
- Strategy & Performance Management for the Latam OU
- Responsible for leading the OU annual budgeting process, including the coordination of all market deliverables
- Support development of overall strategy for the OU and drive strategic business plan
- Full P&L understanding and management (Business performance and risk management) including cash flow management, ensuring annual achievement of financial targets, including the management of risks & opportunities
- Lead the OU’s monthly Strategic Portfolio Analysis, driving detailed market understanding and brand portfolio analysis,
- Drive analysis for profitability, Margin Enhancement, operationalize Marketing ROI generated by Insights and Analytics (I&A)
- Manage Latam OU control & compliance team to support a strong governance framework
- Regular interaction with Corporate Finance functions, often representing the Latam OU with these teams
- Support financial analysis for Corporate and / or OU strategic projects
- Member of the Latam OU Finance leadership team
- Responsible for the preparation of above OU management presentations
- Cross function matrix navigation & management
- People Development, Support development of a strong Finance Business Partnering organization
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
Bachelors degree - Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or local equivalent)
- Financial leadership experience at various levels in Haleon or similar global organization
- Demonstrated ability to display key attributes of successful finance partnering including:
- Business knowledge obtained over 15+ years of relevant work experience
- Technical finance knowledge
- Experience leading teams
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective financial management for a complex organization using technical expertise and analytical skills
- Understanding of financial systems and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- MBA (with heavy finance components) or equivalent experience
- Effective knowledge of all accounting standards, including IFRS, US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley
- Delivering on value opportunities while balancing risk and opportunities (Stewardship & Governance)
- Developing highly effective working relationships and managing key stakeholders to achieve the partnership status with your business
