### As a Fab16s (Tainan) Scanner Equipment Manager, you will…

Lead and manage a team of equipment engineers to oversee the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Study and optimize equipment performance, reliability, upgrades, and safety. Drive programs to improve uptime and resolve equipment issues impacting manufacturing, while leveraging AI-driven analytics and automation to enhance decision-making, predictive maintenance, and operational efficiency. Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.

### Responsibilities and Tasks

• Forecast and budget for equipment upkeep costs and related expenditures. Drive improvement activities to reduce costs by utilizing AI-based cost modeling and predictive maintenance insights.

• Develop systems and procedures to ensure first-time success in PM, and drive effective troubleshooting with low MTTR and spare cost through AI-assisted fault detection, root cause analysis (RCA), and knowledge systems.

• Work closely with Process and Manufacturing Managers to address equipment constraints and OEE. Leverage AI/ML models to optimize tool performance, throughput, and metrology sampling strategies.

• Establish and monitor vendor performance metrics to drive quality and cost improvements. Utilize data analytics platforms and AI-based benchmarking to evaluate supplier performance and identify optimization opportunities.

• Set performance expectations for employees and conduct regular reviews. Drive team capability building by enabling AI adoption (e.g., Copilot, data tools, automation platforms) to improve engineering productivity and decision speed.

• Partner with teams to develop scalable solutions by integrating AI-enabled monitoring systems, digital dashboards, and smart alerting mechanisms for real-time equipment health tracking.

• Provide support and resources to ensure compliance with EHSS requirements, and utilize digital/AI tools for risk identification, incident trend analysis, and compliance tracking.

• Ensure good housekeeping practices on tools, equipment, and materials, supported by digital inspection systems and automated compliance tracking.

• Ensure employees have required training, knowledge, and competency, including AI literacy, data interpretation skills, and ability to utilize AI-enabled engineering tools.
