Description
AB Staffing is looking for experienced Occupational Therapists (OT) for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year.
Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university
- Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Ohio.
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred.
- BLS/CPR Cert.
Job Description:
- Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
- Contract through the 2026/2027 school year – 12 hours per week.
- Contract follows the academic district calendar
Occupational Therapist (OT) Duties:
- Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care.
- Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals.
- Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed.
- Document all patient care in accordance with department policies.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Salary:
- $588 - $612/Weekly
