Mixed Veterinary Surgeon (Small & Large Animal) – Ireland

The Vet Office is currently recruiting Mixed Veterinary Surgeons to join a number of well-established veterinary practices across Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for veterinarians who enjoy both companion animal and farm animal practice and are looking to develop their careers in a supportive, modern environment.
What we are looking for
- Minimum 1 year of experience in mixed veterinary practice (small and large animals).
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine recognised within the EU.
- C1 Cambridge Certificate or IELTS (required for registration with the Veterinary Council of Ireland).
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Full driving licence is desirable.

Clinical work
Depending on the practice, your caseload may include:
- Companion animal consultations and surgery.
- Dairy and beef herd health.
- Reproductive management.
- Calf medicine.
- Preventive herd health programmes.
- Emergency and out-of-hours duties (practice dependent).
- Client advisory and farm visits.
