Description
- Provide compassionate and attentive care to all patients.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare and monitor patients for surgery and anesthesia.
- Perform phlebotomy, place IV catheters, and assist with radiographs.
- Prepare medications and maintain accurate medical records.
- Support hospitalized patient care and emergency treatments as needed.
- Maintain sterile technique and uphold hospital sanitation standards.
- Clean, organize, and restock treatment and exam areas.
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members.
- Efficiently multitask in a high-volume clinical environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous veterinary experience required.
- Proficiency in animal handling and patient restraint.
- Experience with blood draws, catheter placement, and radiology preferred.
- Knowledge of anesthesia monitoring and dental procedures preferred.
- Familiarity with IDEXX and Neo software strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work collaboratively.
- Ability to remain composed and professional during emergencies and high-stress situations.
