Job Description

As a Security Guard Hospital Lobby in Mangonia Park, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, staff, and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, hallways, and other assigned areas to help manage access, assist with directions, and support an orderly environment for daily operations.
• Assist with security-related requests such as access control, visitor screening support, and/or response to calls for assistance while maintaining professional communication at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Required to meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
