The role

As the Manager Credit Management, you will serve as a key decision-making contributor within the Credit Risk Management Process, responsible for executing credit evaluations, risk assessments, and approval processes in line with established policies and governance.

You will ensure that credit decisions are analytically robust, commercially balanced, and compliant, supporting sustainable business growth while minimizing financial exposure.

Working closely with country business teams and 3PSPs, you will bring together financial analysis, market insights, and risk frameworks to recommend credit limits and terms, monitor exposure, and proactively identify risk.

This role acts as a critical link between business growth and financial control, ensuring that credit risk is managed effectively without compromising customer relationships or market competitiveness.

What you'll be responsible for

Credit Evaluation

Analyze customer financial statements, payment history, and external credit reports

Apply internal scoring models and credit assessment tools

Risk Assessment & Credit Approval

Approve credit requests within delegated authority

Escalate high-risk or exception cases to Credit Lead

Credit Limit Setting

Recommend and maintain credit limits aligned with customer risk profiles

Conduct periodic reviews and adjustments

Establishing Credit Terms

Propose and manage payment terms based on risk and market practices

Ensure compliance with defined credit policy

Credit Monitoring & Risk Control

Monitor exposure vs. limits and identify early warning signals

Initiate mitigation actions for high-risk accounts

Stakeholder Collaboration (Country Teams & 3PSP)

Work closely with local sales and finance teams on credit decisions

Coordinate with 3PSPs (credit bureaus, agencies, outsourcing partners) for data and insights

We're looking for someone who

Rather than an exhaustive check list, focus on what really matters.

University degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or related fields.

8+ years in Credit Risk / O2C / Finance.

Knowledge of Salesforce, SAP S/4HANA, SAP-FSCM, credit frameworks, and financial analytics

Experience in a Global Business Services (GBS) or shared services environment is highly preferred.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical IT requirements and business-facing customer service needs
