Job Description
Join GEICO Local Office – Graves Erskine Insurance Agency, INC., a leading insurance agency serving the Austin, Texas area. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you'll have the opportunity to help individuals and families protect what matters most to them. In this role, you'll be responsible for prospecting, identifying customer needs, and providing tailored insurance solutions. Responsibilities
- Prospect and generate leads through various channels, including referrals, networking, and community events.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate insurance coverage options to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their insurance-related inquiries and concerns.
- Persistently follow up with leads and actively manage the sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize sales strategies, share best practices, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Proficient computer skills and willingness to learn new software and technology tools.
Active Texas Property and Casualty Insurance License.
Bilingual a plus
