About the role
Within the Communication Services Business Line, the Business Modeler is an expert in modeling Orange Business offers (existing or Next-Gen Products) within the Quote-to-Bill ecosystems of CurrentCo & NewCo.
The Business Modeler is at a crossroads, he works closely with various stakeholders, such as product marketing managers, sales channels, zones, GDO operational teams, and Digital Technologies teams, to ensure that our products are modeled in accordance with standards/recommendations of TMF/ODA, and best practices. The Business Modeler contributes to defining the structure of offers and ensures the implementation of their modeling.
Main missions:The Business Modeler is expected to:
- Ensure and guarantee adherence to deadlines and commitments regarding the Business Roadmap.
- Define the appropriate modeling for launching offers, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Facilitate the necessary meetings to gather, understand, frame, and analyze requests for updates to offer modeling.
- Convert update requests into functional specifications.
- Participate in testing and deployment phases of new modeling versions.
- Ensure the alignment of modeling with standards/recommendations of TMF/ODA, and best practices.
- Assist in resolving issues and incidents with relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional projects with various actors.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Business Modeler team’s operational methods.
About you
Education: Master’s degree (BAC+5) in telecommunications, computer science, engineering, business, or related fields.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Project Manager.
- Significant experience with Agile Scrum & SAFe methodologies.
- Proficiency in catalog management tools.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to coordinate and bring together stakeholders.
- Attention to detail to ensure product integrity and consistency.
- Knowledge of pre-sales, sales, and production processes is a plus.
- Familiarity with Quote-to-Bill processes and tools such as Abacus, Enov, Castor, GRP, and Evolve is advantageous.
- Knowledge of modeling or configuring tools for Contract Management, Catalog, Quotation, Ordering, Delivery (e.g., Congas, CSG, Ciena Blue Planet).
- Certifications in SAFe (Agilist, LPM) and Scrum Master are desirable.
