The defense industrial base is at a historic inflection point

Manufacturing capacity is at the center of conversation.

Demand is surging across munitions, drones and space, the money is moving, and programs still lose years waiting for parts. The machines are already in the country. What's missing is coordination.

The layer that finds capacity, qualifies it, removes red tape, and moves work across it without the paperwork and handoffs that stall programs today. That layer was never built because it took armies of people to run. With AI, it's buildable now, and whoever builds it becomes the way America ramps production.

Jiga is building that layer. We route demand to the right US manufacturers, operate as supplier of record with full traceability, and turn into a production arm for custom mechanical parts. Teams at NASA, Collins, Archer and Leidos build with us today. We're VC-backed, growing 4x year over year.

The role

You'll own a book of aerospace and defense accounts. You'll sell Jiga as a strategic solution: production contracts, capacity agreements, and supplier-of-record relationships, closed top-down with the people who own supply chains at Tier 1s, defense tech companies, and the primes.

You'll build your named account list, run your deals end to end, and work directly with leadership on deal structure and where we invest. You get budget for travel, events and relationship building, and the autonomy to deploy it.

What you'll do

  • Own a book of strategic aerospace and defense accounts end to end, from first conversation to signed contract.
  • Sell Jiga as a solution to programs: production contracts, capacity agreements, and supplier-of-record relationships with the people who own supply chains.
  • Navigate the defense ecosystem. Know who holds budget at primes, Tier 1s, and defense tech companies, how programs make sourcing decisions, and how to get in the room.
  • Build and grow relationships with supply chain and procurement leaders, in person and over time.
  • Shape deal structure with leadership and help decide where we invest.
  • Bring what you learn in the market back into the company.

You're a fit if you

  • Bring a live rolodex. You already know supply chain VPs, ops leaders and GMs at Tier 1/2 suppliers and defense tech companies, and you can name the accounts you'd open first.
  • Have 10+ years selling into or operating inside aerospace and defense manufacturing
  • Speak shop floor and flowdown natively: AS9100, first articles, ITAR, DFARS specialty metals, source approval.
  • Have closed $1M+ production contracts or equivalent enterprise deals, and can walk through exactly how.
  • Generate your own pipeline. You've built enterprise books without marketing air cover and know how long these cycles actually take.
  • Are a US citizen based in the US (ITAR). Active or clearable Secret is a plus for program-sensitive conversations. Living near a defense manufacturing corridor (SoCal, Texas, Southeast, Northeast) is a plus.

This role is not for you if

  • Your quota history is 30-60 day transactional cycles.
  • Your experience is government capture only. If you've sold to program offices but never closed a commercial supply chain deal, this is a different motion.
  • You need a mature company brand to function.
  • You're looking for a title and a team to manage. This is a selling role.
