About the role

As a mechanical engineer of a large centrifugal chiller, you will be responsible for the structural design, strength design, pressure vessel design of the chiller, you will work with the DE team to complete the modeling and drawing of all units, your goal is to ensure the safety and compliance of the chiller design, implement the functional design requirements of the system engineer, easy to manufacture and cost competitive in the market, your success will make our product quality more reliable, products more competitive in the market

Key Responsibilities:

As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Chiller component structure and strength design, including pressure vessel, system piping,

• chiller layout, etc.

• Works in team environment and must interface with manufacturing, quality, supplier chain, lab

• technicians and outside vendors.

• Self-directed and capable of making project decisions with minimal input to meet project

• schedule and quality.

• Maintain an awareness of applicable new technologies, design methodologies, industry standards,

• and competitive products.

• Responds with urgency to customer needs as they apply to the resolution of problems relating to

• technical product operation.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• Knowledge of pressure vessel design and manufacture, familiar with GB and ASME standard of
• pressure vessel.
• Have a thorough knowledge of manufacturing process/methods.
• Knowledge of material particularly carbon steel, copper, welding and heat treatment process.
• Experience in engineering document control and familiar with processing revisions on product
• documentation.
• Could conceptualize designs, and manufacturing methods to optimize production or cost reduction.
• More than 3 working years on the related job.
