Job Title
Senior Manufacturing Process PlannerWho are we?
As an aircraft manufacturer, industrialist, industrial service provider and logistician, Daher currently has approximately 14,500 employees and achieved a revenue of 1.9 billion euros in 2025. With its family ownership, Daher has been focused on innovation since its creation in 1863. With locations in 15 countries across Europe, North America and Asia, Daher designs and develops value-added solutions for its aeronautical and industrial customers and partners
Kodiak Aircraft is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Planner to help ensure manufacturing information is accurate, complete, and production-ready for certified aircraft production.
This role connects Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and ERP systems. You will translate engineering intent into executable manufacturing data and help strengthen the planning processes that support aircraft build execution.
Why this role matters: every aircraft depends on reliable mBOMs, routings, work instructions, configuration control, and production data that accurately reflect how the aircraft is built.
What makes this role senior:
Senior does not simply mean more years of experience. We are looking for someone who can operate independently, use sound judgment, influence stakeholders without formal authority, and bring practical ideas to improve how manufacturing planning is performed.
Primary Role and Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and improve mBOMs, routings, work instructions, and ERP manufacturing data.
- Translate engineering bills of material, drawings, and process definitions into executable production data.
- Ensure work orders reflect accurate sequencing, materials, tooling, requirements, and operational constraints.
- Implement engineering changes while maintaining revision control, effectivity, configuration integrity, and aircraft traceability.
- Resolve gaps between ERP data and actual shop-floor execution through root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
- Partner across Engineering, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Configuration Management to improve production readiness.
What you need to have:
- 7+ years of experience in manufacturing planning, manufacturing engineering, ERP data management, or a related role in a complex production environment.
- Strong ERP experience such as Epicor, SAP, or similar, including mBOMs, routings, and production data structures.
- Experience reconciling engineering and manufacturing BOM structures, preferably using PLM systems such as Teamcenter or similar.
- Hands-on understanding of manufacturing operations and how products are actually built on the shop floor.
- Experience with engineering change management, configuration control, effectivity, and revision management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-influence skills.
Preferred:
- Aircraft manufacturing experience, knowledge of AS9100 or regulated manufacturing environments, exposure to MRP systems, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or digital work instructions. A technical degree is preferred but not the only path to success.
Information related to the position:
The compensation range is $75,000 to $85,000 in base salary plus an annual target bonus.
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
At Daher, your total rewards package is more than just your base salary as we offer a full benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Life insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and more.
