We're partnering with an established heavy civil contractor that's looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead high-impact infrastructure projects from preconstruction through closeout. What You'll Be Doing
- Manage 1-4 heavy civil construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, forecasting, production tracking, and financial performance.
- Coordinate with Superintendents, field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, engineers, inspectors, and owners.
- Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications.
- Lead project meetings while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal leadership.
- Manage subcontractor procurement, performance, documentation, and project closeout.
- Ensure projects meet quality standards, contract requirements, environmental regulations, and safety expectations.
- Drive project profitability through proactive risk management, cost control, forecasting, and change order management.
- Support estimating, constructability reviews, and seamless project turnover.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in heavy civil construction.
- Experience managing highway, bridge, roadway, site development, or other infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of heavy civil construction methods, sequencing, equipment, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, HCSS, HeavyBid, HeavyJob, Bluebeam, or similar software is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered).
