Job Description

FGVPI operates with 63 palm oil mills located throughout the country (Peninsular, Sabah & Sarawak)

Operations Engineer.

• Responsible for implementing and taking action to optimize Mill efficiency and process FFB effectively.
• Responsible to achieve potential OER and KER.
• Responsible for buying good quality of Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB) .
• Responsible to produce and manage byproducts accordingly.
• Responsible to achieve mill throughput.
• Responsible to manage and control processing cost of the mill.
• Responsible for process control, quality of product and losses within control limit.
• Responsible for the safety of employees, machineries and others including of raw materials, products, spare parts and properties of the mill.
• Responsible for mill cleanliness.
• Responsible for management of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RSPO, ISCC and others at Mill.
• Responsible to manage with regard to the internal and external affairs and crisis of the mill.
• Responsible for career development and training of the staffs.
• Responsible for handling tasks Mill Manager & Assistant Mill Manager during their leave or outstation duty.
• Responsible for reviewing and verifying the records / books on Mill operations.
• Ensure that any mill breakdown reported to the  Mill Manager
• Responsible for ensuring the Mill‘s reports accurate and reliable.
• Responsible for monitoring raw water and boiler water treatment within control limit.
• Responsible to take action on audit issues (SIRIM, ADK etc)
• Comply and follow the EMS System 14001
• Good practice of environment health & safety

Maintenance Engineer.

• Responsible to plan and implementation of preventive maintenance (PV40)
• Responsible to manage and control  maintenance cost
• Responsible to  do budget planning for mill maintenance
• Responsible  to acquire CePSwam (Certified Professional Scheduled Waste Management)
• Responsible for implementing and taking action to optimize Mill efficiency and process FFB effectively.

• Responsible to achieve mill throughput.
• Responsible for process control, quality of product and losses within control limit.
• Responsible for the safety of employees, machineries and others including of raw materials, products, spare parts and properties of the mill.

• Responsible for management of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, RSPO, ISCC and others at Mill.
