OVERVIEW

Oversee all aspects of planning, service of the bar, and safe preparation. To mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to patrons of the bar, following standard recipes. To wait on bar and restaurant patrons in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Responsible for quality of service and day-to-day operations in accordance with company and brand standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Housekeeping inside and outside of the casino.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Recognize and resolve customer issues and/or complaints by determining optimal solutions in a timely manner.
• Sell and/or serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal law.
• Responsible for ensuring customers are of proper age for casino gaming and/or consuming and purchasing alcoholic beverages according to state and federal law.
• Ensure daily tasks are completed according to the task list.
• Responsible for the security of the casino assets including inventory, machines, and cash.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper working order of gaming machines and escalating potential machine issues to management.
• Read meters and meter set up.
• Cash handling and reconciliation.
• Count casino bank daily.
• Cash out tickets.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1 year of Casino Runner experience
• Minimum 1 year of bartending experience
• TIPS Alcohol certified
• Proficient on a computer
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• A flexible schedule that allows availability based on the demands of the hotel.

OTHER

Consistent attendance in accordance with the standards set forth by Resolute Road Hospitality must be maintained and is an essential element of the success in this role. If the Casino Attendant is unable to meet these requirements, he/she will be subject to disciplinary action based on management operating policies, up to and including termination of employment.

Casino Attendant may be required to work varying schedules as dictated by the business needs of the hotel. This includes attendance at all scheduled brand and job specific training sessions and meetings. May require nights, weekends, and holidays.
