Job Summary

Support mailroom operations by assisting in the assembly and preparation of printed materials for distribution.

Expected compensation for this role is $18.15 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Essential Functions

• Place/stack bundled mail on pallets.
• Operate electric floor jack to move skids.
• Feed strapping, plastic wrap, and bottom wrap machines.
• Assist in staging mailroom equipment before production runs.
• Load various feed stations; occasionally hand feed.
• Palletize products as they run off the machines.
• Occasionally responsible for housekeeping duties. 
• Abide by all OSHA regulations and the lockout/tagout program, as well as other established company safety policies. 
• Maintain prompt and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Mechanical skills and computer knowledge are preferred. 
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  
• Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other employees of the organization.
