Description
This is a continuous recruitment to create an applicant pool. Openings may or may not exist at this time. Applications are evaluated on an as-needed basis when the Health Sciences Department has a need for a Clinical Instructor. The continuous posting will remain open for a period of 24 months. After this period, applications will become inactive.
- Evaluates student performance through processes approved by the Director of Nursing and informs the student accordingly
- Obtains and maintains such licenses and/or certifications as may become necessary or appropriate to perform in accordance with accepted standards in the field of academic responsibility
- Maintains familiarity with the NCBON the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and the NC Community College System's standards and requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other employees
- Utilizes methods of instruction and teaching techniques that are appropriate to the fulfillment of course goals and objectives
License(s) Required: A current, unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
