Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior C++ Developer and Migration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ development and experience with code migration projects. You will work closely with our technical lead and development team to ensure the quality and accuracy of C++ code, helped by AI tools, and to address any issues that arise during the development process.

 

Your Impact

• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the converted code.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the converted code integrates seamlessly with the new architecture.
• Provide expertise in C++ to address complex code scenarios.
• Assist in modularizing the application to microservices.
• Ensure the code adheres to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to the team.
• Document the conversion process and any manual adjustments made to the code.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in C++ development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with code migration projects, particularly from C++ to other languages.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture, including microservices and containerization.
• Experience with databases, particularly SQL and NoSQL databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Proficiency with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience with front-end technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of automated code review tools and static code analyzers.
• Desirable: Experience with Java development.
