Position Purpose
The Visual Merchandising Coordinator supports the implementation of Montblanc’s Visual Merchandising strategy across Iberia, with a primary focus on the Wholesale network. The role ensures that all visual merchandising executions are aligned with Maison guidelines, enhancing brand visibility and delivering a consistent client experience across all points of sale.
Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Retail, Wholesale partners, regional teams and HQ, the VM Coordinator will be responsible for the execution, follow-up and maintenance of visual merchandising initiatives while supporting local activations and boutique projects led by VM Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Wholesale Visual Merchandising Execution
- Coordinate the implementation of Visual Merchandising guidelines across the Wholesale network in Spain and Portugal.
- Ensure all permanent and seasonal displays are installed according to Maison standards.
- Support the implementation of product launches, campaigns and animations in Wholesale partners.
- Regularly monitor the quality of VM execution through store visits and photo reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve visibility and consistency across Wholesale partners.
Retail & Boutique Support
- Support VM execution in Montblanc boutiques whenever required.
- Assist in seasonal window changes and in-store visual updates.
- Ensure visual standards are consistently maintained.
VM Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate the distribution and installation of VM materials across Iberia.
- Monitor delivery timelines and ensure stores receive the appropriate materials.
- Support local adaptation of HQ VM guidelines when required.
- Maintain updated VM calendars and implementation trackers.
Projects & Openings
- Support VM implementation for new Wholesale corners, shop-in-shops and boutique refurbishments.
- Coordinate with HQ, suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
Events & Marketing Activations
- Support the VM setup for local events, pop-ups and temporary activations.
- Coordinate the production and installation of visual elements.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain VM databases and asset inventories.
- Prepare implementation reports and follow-up presentations.
- Track VM requests and coordinate with suppliers.
- Support purchase order administration and budget tracking.
PROFILE
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Visual Merchandising or a related field.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Marketing or Luxury Retail.
- Experience within the luxury industry is a plus.
Knowledge
- Strong interest in luxury retail and visual presentation.
- Understanding of premium retail environments.
- Project coordination skills.
Travel
Availability to travel approximately 60–70% across Spain and Portugal.
SKILLS
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/InDesign) is a plus.
- AutoCAD is desirable but not mandatory.
Languages
- Fluent Spanish and English.
- Portuguese would be considered an advantage.
