Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Head Certified Athletic Trainer at Lackland Air Force Base, in San Antonio, TX
This contract position offers:
- Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
- A chance to serve our military
- No evening, weekend or holiday responsibilities
Job Requirements:
The Head Certified Athletic Trainer will have the following requirements:
A Master's degree from a Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) accredited ATEP or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University within the field of Athletic Training
A minimum of 10 years' experience in diagnosing, treating, and preventing musculoskeletal injuries as an AT in high school, college, professional sports setting.
- 3 or more years overseeing a sports medicine or AT program of 3 or more ATs and/or strength and conditioning coaches
- Published at least 1 peer reviewed original research article as an author/investigator
- Certified by NATABOC or NATA
- BLS by AHA or American Red Cross
- Unrestricted Texas State License
