Schedule: Night shift | Full-time

Salary range: $48.36 - $68.26 per hour

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of critical experience to coordinate unit staffing and provide leadership for assigned specialty areas such as Cardiovascular/Cath Lab, Surgical Services, Emergency/Triage, Endoscopy, Adult/Pediatric/NeoNatal Critical Care, or Labor & Delivery/Women & Family.

• Assigns, directs, educates, and monitors nursing and support associates during assigned shifts while exercising independent judgment to plan shifts, services, and patient care.

• Assesses daily patient care needs to develop and distribute patient care assignments, ensuring population-appropriate care, maintaining productivity standards, and justifying variances to unit managers.

• Responds to patient care complaints through established channels and sets operational priorities appropriate to daily patient and physician dynamics.

• Facilitates the availability of adequate materials, resources, and supplies while providing input into the hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluation of staff.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

 

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
