Description
Location: McGhee Tyson Airport
Pay: $16/hour
Schedule: 4pm to 12am; shift days will vary and may include weekends

Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions
- Supervise and ensure proper cash-handling procedures are followed by all cashiers
- Maintain organized cash drawers and ticket supplies at all times
- Review, prepare, and verify cash control logs and summary sheets for accuracy and completeness
- Monitor, investigate, and promptly report all cash overages and shortages
- Ensure adequate change funds are available throughout all shifts
- Complete and oversee shift and daily reconciliations of receipts, cash, and charges
- Perform and verify revenue drops in accordance with location-specific procedures
- Secure all funds, receipts, and control documents in deposit bags prior to deposit.
- Greet and depart guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
- Model and reinforce exceptional customer service standards
- Resolve customer complaints efficiently; escalate issues when required
- Answer guest inquiries and provide clear parking-related information
- Assist guests entering and exiting the property
- Issue and collect visitor parking tickets and oversee ticket matching procedures
- Ensure professional and respectful communication with guests, clients, and teammates
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to cashier staff
- Monitor cashier performance and adherence to policies and procedures
- Serve as the point of contact for cashier-related questions during assigned shifts
- Ensure proper shift coverage and support smooth handoffs between shifts
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe cashier booth and surrounding area
- Ensure booth interior, windows, signage, and equipment are clean and free of vandalism or graffiti
- Conduct routine walks of the parking facility to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Ensure supplies are stocked, properly organized, and available for all cashiers
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment at all times
- Lock windows, doors, and secure cash whenever the booth is unattended
- Report all accidents, incidents, suspicious activity, or safety concerns immediately
- Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Enforce Reimagined Parking dress code and grooming standards
- Ensure punctuality and accurate timecard punches for self and cashier team
- Assist management with operational reporting and documentation as needed
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and conflict-resolution abilities
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy and organizational skills
- Proficient in basic math, cash-handling, and reconciliation processes
- Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Previous cash-handling experience required; supervisory experience preferred
- Prior customer service experience strongly preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must successfully pass a background check, in accordance with company policy and applicable laws
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide documentation verifying eligibility, as required by the Department of Homeland Security. Reimagined Parking participates in the E‑Verify program to confirm employment eligibility.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent use of hands for handling cash, tickets, and operating equipment
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and perform light cleaning duties
- Ability to lift and/or move items up to approximately 25 pounds (e.g., supplies or trash bags)
- Visual acuity sufficient to read tickets, screens, and signage
- Ability to hear and communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Work is primarily performed in a cashier booth and/or outdoor parking environment
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, rain, and cold
- May work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs
- Potential exposure to vehicle exhaust, traffic noise, and parking equipment
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment requiring professionalism at all times
