RA Specialist

Overview

Location: Chennai

 

Position Objective :

• Ensuring that Kemin India meets all regulatory obligations in terms of product registration of products in the operating countries. Achieve product registration within established business unit timelines
• Responsible for all formulation & label related activities including ERP update of formulations and labels.
• Regulatory compliance: Creating, reviewing and issuing labels, as per the country requirement.
• Internal approvals: Permission to Publish (PTP) approvals – review R&D ad marketing documents and presentations for claims and other proprietary information and approve for external publications.
• Works with R&D, Quality and Marketing team for Project activities.

 

Responsibilities

• Prepare documents for registration of products in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and other countries for different Business units in Kemin India. And also needs to support with documents to other BUs based on requirement.
• Assist in preparation and submission of trademark approval application to WWIPRA
• Prepare confidentiality agreement, trade secret, and Research agreement, MOU, in consultation with Director Finance.
• Ensure all products labels are in alignment with the regulations of the country.
• Permission to Publish: Review and approve all documents from R&D and Marketing for sharing with customers and others.
• Safely keep lab notebooks and other confidential documents
• Ensure that updated MSDS and product description sheets are available
• Coordination with internal stakeholders (R&D, QA, Marketing, Supply Chain) during product development and PIP stage gates
• Preparing monthly RA report and sending to WWIPRA.
• Train the people in R&D and Marketing on PIP and PTP processes.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Animal Nutrition, Food Science, Biotechnology, or related field
  • 3–6 years of experience in Regulatory Affairs (Feed/Food/Nutraceuticals)
