Position: Trainee Croupier  

Location: Leeds Casino

Hours Per Week: 40

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

We have a fantastic opportunity for trainee croupiers to join our casino team! The trainee croupier role is to deal the table games to a good standard whilst maintaining excellent customer service levels, adhering to the table gaming procedures.

  • Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends.

  • Must be able to possess a Personal Functional License (Gambling).

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Delivers an appropriately tailored commentary and service experience to every guest.
  • Demonstrates gaming product knowledge.
  • Develops an ability to deliver learn to play sessions.
  • Shows knowledge and leads by example in the promotion and upselling of site promotions.
  • Identifies and notifies managers of any potential and known high value players.
  • Full responsibility for the operation of assigned Gaming table.
  • Maximize gaming efficiency by ensuring game speed is in line with Company standards.
  • Gaming transactions completed and recorded accurately and efficiently in line with Company procedures.
  • Ensure table transactions are properly accounted for through the accurate and transparent reconciliation of funds.
  • Monitor float levels and notify inspector/pit boss in a timely manner when fills or credits are required.
  • Show an acute awareness and understanding of Game Protection through managing and reporting suspicious, aggressive and major play action in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide an audible commentary to inform players of the progress of the game and enable surveillance to monitor all chip and cash transactions.
  • Rating and recording of customer activity and cash drop.
  • Lead by example in the confident and appropriate resolution of player disputes in line with Company policy and procedures.
  • To promote the company in a professional and positive manner with both internal and external contacts or at any other opportunity.
  • To ensure that the company’s equal opportunities policy is adhered to at all times.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise.
  • To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
  • To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures. Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.
  • To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.
