JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Clinical Training & Education Manager is responsible for leading the execution of Implant Direct's training & education programs while managing the Training & Education team. This role translates the global education strategy into impactful educational experiences that support customer acquisition, clinician development, and customer loyalty. The Manager oversees educational planning, faculty engagement, program execution, and operational excellence while collaborating closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with excellent project management skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for delivering world-class clinical education.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Clinical Education Program Development and Management

  • Execute the global clinical education strategy established by the company.
  • Work together with key experts, clinical advisors and sales to design and develop comprehensive clinical education programs, including hands-on courses, webinars, live surgeries, study clubs and regional education initiatives.
  • Manage the executions of these programs, ensuring consistent, high-quality educational experiences across all programs.
  • Manage the annual education calendar and ensure timely execution of all educational activities.
  • Monitor program performance and implement continuous improvements based on participant feedback and business KPIs.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach and develop the Training & Education team.
  • Set priorities, allocate resources and manage team workload.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing and customer-focused culture.
  • Support professional development and performance management of team members.

Faculty & Key Opinion Leader Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and speakers.
  • Identify and recruit new faculty members aligned with Implant Direct's educational vision.
  • Manage speaker onboarding, agreements, evaluations and ongoing engagement.
  • Ensure faculty deliver a consistent, high-quality educational experience.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing to develop educational campaigns that drive program awareness and attendance.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to ensure educational content reflects current product strategy and clinical evidence.
  • Work closely with Sales teams to support customer acquisition and retention through education.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Logistics to ensure seamless event execution.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage education budgets and resources responsibly.
  • Oversee planning and execution of educational events from concept through completion.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable industry regulations.
  • Drive process improvements using continuous improvement methodologies (EBS, Kaizen, Visual Management and PSP).

Performance & Analytics

  • Define and monitor KPIs related to education programs.
  • Analyze participant satisfaction, attendance, faculty performance and business impact.
  • Provide regular reports and recommendations to the Head of Education.
  • Use data to optimize program effectiveness and operational efficiency.

 Clinical Education Program Marketing:

  • Develop a clear and differentiated value proposition and associated content (videos, imagery) for Implant Direct education to enable our teams to articulate the value of our education offering to PGPs and DSOs.
  • Work with the Marketing team to plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns to promote Implant Direct education programs utilizing various channels such as digital marketing, social platforms, and influencer marketing to attain 100% course attendance.
  • Execute campaigns aimed at selling education courses to competitive super placer implantologists.

Job Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education & experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in clinical education in a corporate setting, event coordination, marketing, sales, or similar commercial experience with a corporate environment.
  • Experience in the dental field within a corporate setting with experience in T&E course development, KOL management/recruitment and DSO interactions.

TRAVEL: 

  • Requires ability to travel up to 25% for onsite support in education and training events..

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Action oriented with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be extremely organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The ability to prioritize and multi-task is a must.
  • Strong critical thinker with a track record of problem-solving
  • Must have solid knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Cvent, Docebo, AI tools – strong advantage
  • Ability to deal professionally and sensitively with a diverse audience and a wide range of contacts on different levels.
  • Must have the ability to keep matters of business discrete and confidential.
  • Must present a professional image, maintain a positive outlook, be a self-starter, take initiative, be dependable and take pride in work product.

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed reasonable estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Envista, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
