POSITION PROFILE
Prepares and maintains golf course greens, fairways, and other golf course surfaces as required, ensuring compliance with all golfing regulations and standards. Sets course tee and cup placements, installs and repairs irrigation systems, and operates and maintains equipment
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIES
- Sets golf courses to include cutting cups, setting tees, repairing greens, raking bunkers, and mowing greens and fairways.
- Responsible for the daily maintenance around outside of clubhouse, parking lots and golf course(s).
- Performing ongoing landscaping tasks, as well as routine maintenance of all landscaping equipment
- Maintains golf course, including bunkers, greens, driving range, and tee boxes; mows bunker faces; prunes trees.
- Assists in special construction projects as required.
- Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Removal of trash and debris, blowing areas off, sweeping, raking, mulching, mowing, trimming, edging, watering and planting material
- Operating mowers, trimmers and other landscape equipment
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience: Previous landscape or grounds maintenance experience is preferred, not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift, pull, push, bend, and move items to support the hotel and outlets
