What will you do?
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
- Acts as an advocate to raise the awareness of the needs of children. Understands Christ’s mandate to protect children. Commits to and prioritizes child protection considerations in all decision-making, tasks and activities across the ministry. Abides by all behavioral expectations in Compassion’s Statement of Commitment to Child Protection and Code of Conduct. Reports any concerns of abuse, neglect or exploitation of children through Compassion’s internal reporting process and appropriately supports responses to incidents if they occur.
- Uphold and engage in Compassion’s core Cultural Behaviors.
- Lead and support the execution of complex, cross-functional P&C initiatives by coordinating planning, alignment, implementation activities, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making across P&C teams and business partners by analyzing challenges, identifying opportunities, and developing practical solutions in complex environments.
- Apply agile principles and project management practices to improve team effectiveness, including facilitating planning sessions, retrospectives, prioritization discussions, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Create visibility and clarity across P&C processes, resources, and initiatives by developing frameworks, documentation, reporting, and insights that support effective decision-making.
- Partner with P&C Centers of Expertise, People & Culture Partners, and global stakeholders to drive initiatives from strategy through execution while adapting to changing priorities and organizational needs.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, organizational development, project management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple teams, stakeholders, or geographic regions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity, identify root causes, and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience applying project management methodologies, agile practices, process improvement techniques, or organizational effectiveness approaches to drive meaningful outcomes.
