Description
The Factory Procurement Manager (FPM) is the single point of accountability for all factory sourcing activities within assigned projects. From RFQ to delivery to Factory, the FPM ensures proactively OTD commitments at supplier is met for his own scope, monitors the full project procurement budget lifecycle, and ensures compliance of project requirements, and adherence of internal tools (MTA Gates, KPI Bowler etc..)
ROLE:
- Ensure that procurement assumptions and strategies defined during the bid phase are clearly shared, understood, and embedded at project kick-off
- Define, formalize, and make available project supply chain directives and procedures; communicate project specificities to the sourcing community and ensure adherence throughout execution
- Ensure timely PO placement and escalate to OM/PM any deviation to baseline schedule incl. Pro-order, DA, PR, POR
- Monitor the Supplier Award process: RFQ, TTA or Award sheet, clarification meeting, approval
- Track supplier progress and actively expedite execution to secure delivery milestones
- Ensure rapid resolution of supplier NCRs, with particular focus on those impacting the critical path on his project
- Coordinate OF, Buyer, and SQ to guarantee PO execution on Quality, Time, and Budget
- Monitor all Sourcing activities through Daily Management: from RFQ to delivery to Factory, incl. Claims and NCR
- Commit to and monitor key milestones: Pro-order (Engineering Document), PO, KOM, PIM, EOMR (End Of Manufacturing Report) via Gates Tool in MTA
- Report activities on KPI Bowler to project stakeholders; present monthly project status to management (progress, projections, critical points, KPIs, financial results)
- Make sure project requirements established by PSL are properly applied
- Provide As-Sold Budget to Sourcing at project initiation + update Finance for CTC estimation
- Identify, analyse, and manage supply chain risks and opportunities and escalate to Project Team members
- Contribute to volume optimisation initiatives (order bundling across product lines or projects)
- Consolidate lessons learned (REX) and share with the respective Order Manager/Project Manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree or college and any additional certification in Supply chain
- Experience of 10 years minimum in Industrial or technical environment and / or sourcing
- Experience as a Buyer or Order Fullfilment Manager or Project Management background and proven track record and ability to manage complex multi-discipline Projects.
- Background in Power generation, Nuclear or heavy industrial manufacturing setup (Turbine, Generators/ Alternators, Rotating Equipment industry) is preferable.
- Project management: Planning, risk, budget / cash, contract reading, claim management
- Full PO lifecycle (RFQ to delivery), supplier award process, NCR / claim management
- Ability to federate and coordinate multicultural, multidisciplinary teams without direct authority
- Excellent written and verbal communication; multi-stakeholder environment (teams, suppliers, clients)
- Strong understanding of procurement / sourcing processes and supply chain governance
- English - written and spoken
- Capacity to analyse and synthesise complex issues; structured problem-solving
- Technical curiosity: ability to understand industrial stakes without design expertise
- Accountability, resilience, autonomy, quality mindset; aligned with Arabelle Solutions cultural pillars
- Know of Procurement tools: ERP / SAP, MTA Gates, KPI Bowler, CSS; MS Office proficiency is preferable
