Job Description

As a Security Officer Perimeter Patrol in Maumelle, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate clearly with employees and visitors while contributing to a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity at Allied Universal.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at an industrial retail and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, sales floor, receiving areas, yard, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization as directed, and maintain visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
