Guill Tool & Engineering is looking for a reliable General Maintenance Worker to keep our building & facilities in top shape. You will handle routing repairs, basic carpentry, painting and general building upkeep.
Guill Tool & Engineering is looking for a reliable General Maintenance Worker to keep our building & facilities in top shape. You will handle routing repairs, basic carpentry, painting and general building upkeep.
Position Responsibilities:
- Carpentry: Building custom shipping crates, hanging doors, building shelves etc.
- Painting: Pain walls & floors, patch drywall, fill holes & cracks, touch ups.
- Building Upkeep: Conduct routing facility checks, change air filters, replace bulbs.
- General Repairs: Fix basic plumbing leaks, or simple hardware issues.
- Safety & Organization: Keep tools clean and safe, report major system breakdowns to management, follow all safety rules.
Basic Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Sound problem solving skills.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience in basic building maintenance, construction and repair.
- Experience in using hand and power tools.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders & lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer.
Hourly wage: Commensurate with experience.
