We are seeking a talented individual to join our Procurement team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bogota, Colombia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In this role, you will partner with category owners, finance, legal, and business leads to deliver sourcing strategies, manage supplier negotiations, and support high-impact procurement decisions. You will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to strategic sourcing methodologies, total cost of ownership thinking, and opportunities to influence supplier strategy and contract terms.
We will count on you to:
• Support and lead RFP/RFQ processes: define requirements, run supplier selection, evaluate proposals, and recommend awards.
• Analyze price proposals, TCO, and supplier financials to determine recommended sourcing outcomes.
• Negotiate commercial terms, SLAs, and pricing with suppliers in coordination with legal and stakeholders.
• Prepare sourcing documentation, business cases, and status reports for stakeholders and governance forums.
• Administer contracts post-award to ensure delivery against service levels and to manage supplier performance.
• Proactively identify supply risks and capacity/continuity issues and work with suppliers to mitigate them.
• Contribute to category strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you need to have:
• 2 years’ experience in strategic or global sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (advanced degree advantageous).
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills; high level of English (C1/C2).
What makes you stand out:
• Proven experience running RFPs and complex supplier negotiations.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and sourcing tools; experience with Apex Analytics or Power BI.
• Category management experience and TCO modeling capability.
• Understanding of contract administration and supplier performance frameworks.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional workstreams.
• Experience in professional services, insurance, or financial services is a plus.
