ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for an experienced Head of Functional Consulting – SAP Life Sciences to lead and develop our global SAP Functional Consulting organization.
In this strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for building a high-performing consulting organization, developing people and capabilities, and ensuring exceptional project delivery across our global customer base. You will work closely with executive leadership to shape the future of our consulting business while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and scalable growth.
This role combines strategic leadership, organizational development, delivery governance, and customer success within the MedTech and Life Sciences industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead, mentor, and develop an international team of SAP Functional Consultants and Team Leads
- Define and execute the global Functional Consulting strategy
- Drive organizational growth, capability development, and succession planning
- Establish delivery governance, quality standards, methodologies, and best practices
- Ensure successful delivery of complex SAP implementation projects worldwide
- Partner with Sales during strategic customer engagements and pre-sales activities
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Development, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership
- Monitor consulting KPIs,utilization, profitability, customer satisfaction, and project health
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive leadership experience within SAP Consulting organizations
- Strong SAP Functional Consulting background
- Proven experience leading international consulting teams
- Experience developing consulting organizations and delivery frameworks
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Strong commercial awareness and customer-centric mindset
- Experience within Life Sciences, Medical Techology, or other regulated industries
NICE TO HAVE
- SAP Certification
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations
- Experience scaling consulting organizations globally
- Background in regulated industries
