Senior Production Operator | Advanced Manufacturing | Industrial Production
Location: Greenville, NC
Position Summary
Triest Ag Group is hiring an experienced Operator III to join our manufacturing team in Greenville, NC. This role is ideal for an experienced production professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving processes, mentoring teammates, and helping maintain a safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations.
The Operator III is a skilled production team member responsible for operating advanced equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production processes. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and a commitment to continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, and operational excellence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor complex equipment and production systems
- Troubleshoot equipment and process issues with minimal supervision
- Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with Plant Coordinator as needed
- Ensure product quality meets company and customer standards
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe work environment
- Participate in Emergency Response Team (ERT) activities
- Maintain accurate production records and reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, TPM, 5S, etc.)
- Assist in setup, changeovers, and optimization of production lines
- Collaborate effectively with team members and leadership
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required (technical certification preferred)
- 3–5+ years of manufacturing or industrial experience
- Advanced mechanical and/or technical skills
- Experience with automated systems, controls, or PLCs is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedures
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check
- Leadership or team lead experience preferred

- Flexibility to work overtime or different shifts as needed
Physical Requirements
Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, including standing, walking, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working in an outdoor manufacturing environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
