This is what you move:

As a Senior E-Commerce Manager Global (m/f/d), you will drive the global e-commerce strategy for our key client Roche. By managing cross-market frameworks and retail media activations (including Amazon), you will act as the central expert collaborating closely with global hubs and local agencies.

• Strategy Design: Conceiving, optimising, and implementing tailored marketplace and e-commerce strategies to actively drive growth and efficiency on an international scale.
• Client Development: Taking ownership of the strategic development and leadership of our key account and its country-specific marketplace presences.
• Campaign Responsibility: Steering and optimising retail media campaigns (including Amazon Sponsored Ads & DSP) according to best-practice standards while continuously identifying new performance drivers.
• Performance Analysis: Seamlessly monitoring KPIs, product listings, and marketing activities, deriving data-driven optimisations, and proactively resolving system issues.
• Content & Visibility Optimisation: Identifying relevant SEO success factors, increasing organic product visibility, and creating high-converting content such as product descriptions and Brand Stores.
• Innovation & Knowledge Transfer: Designing methodical testing plans for new features and actively sharing your deep e-commerce expertise to continuously strengthen the team's capabilities.

 

The following qualities distinguish you:

• E-Commerce Expertise: Multi-year, relevant professional experience in digital or e-commerce marketing – ideally gained on both the agency and brand/client side.
• Platform Know-how: Deep, proven experience with Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Ads, DSP, AMC) as well as a broad understanding of the wider e-commerce ecosystem, including social commerce.
• Industry Focus (Healthcare): Sound understanding of the pharma and healthcare industry and its specific regulatory requirements, ideally complemented by knowledge of online pharmacy networks (e.g., DocMorris, Shop Apotheke).
• Strategic & Global Thinking: Strong entrepreneurial mindset, experience in developing global strategies across multiple markets, and the ability to successfully manage complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Data Literacy: High level of data literacy, confident handling of BI tools and retail media dashboards, as well as proficiency in using standard MS Office tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
• Communication Skills: Business fluency in English (German is highly preferred, French is a plus) paired with the talent to translate complex e-commerce topics clearly for diverse audiences.
