Step Into Cafe Leadership – Food Service Manager 2, Sodexo

 

Sodexo is seeking Food Service Manager 2 to lead daily foodservice operations at our client site in Marietta, Pennsylvania. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on leader ready to step into a management role, overseeing a close-knit kitchen team while gaining broad exposure to financial management, catering coordination, and food safety leadership.

 

What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day food service financials, including inventory control and meal cost management
• Oversee a 3-person kitchen team preparing breakfast and lunch for approximately 40 guests daily
• Coordinate catering operations, including event setup, food delivery, and pickup
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP) in a no open flame kitchen environment
• Manage cashless point-of-sale operations and daily transaction accuracy

What You Bring

• Prior experience as a Food Service Manager or similar foodservice leadership role
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and controlling food costs
• Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety compliance
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage inventory and catering logistics independently
• Comfort working in a small, close-knit team environment
