Position Summary
The Business Analyst & Strategy Specialist provides cross-functional analytical, administrative, and project support to executive leadership and corporate departments. The position helps organize priorities, improve processes, analyze information, prepare business materials, and execute strategic initiatives. Responsibilities may span Human Resources, Recruiting, Security, Information Technology, Strategy, and Program Operations.
Ideal candidates will have experience supporting Military Intelligence Service Centers, Combatant Commands, or federal Intelligence Community organizations such as DIA, the FBI, or the Department of Homeland Security. The successful candidate will apply this mission experience to corporate operations, government contracting, business analysis, and organizational strategy.
Requirements
Cross-Functional Support
- Provide analytical, administrative, and project support to the Executive Leadership Team and functional departments.
- Organize priorities, maintain action trackers, coordinate stakeholders, and monitor deadlines and deliverables.
- Support recurring activities and special projects based on organizational needs.
Intelligence Community Strategy
- Research organizational missions, structures, modernization priorities, and capability requirements.
- Analyze processes, organizational data, and functional requirements to support leadership decisions.
- Prepare executive briefings, reports, recommendations, and other decision-support materials.
- Translate strategic direction into actions, milestones, and performance measures.
- Support market research, capability materials, and requests for information.
Process and Data Support
- Document project and/or business processes, requirements, policies, and workflows.
- Recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency, accountability, and compliance.
- Analyze organizational data and develop dashboards, reports, and performance summaries.
- Maintain accurate information across corporate systems and shared resources.
Project, Quality, and Risk Support
- Coordinate meetings, working groups, planning sessions, and internal projects.
- Review documents and data for accuracy, completeness, dependencies, risks, and compliance.
- Protect sensitive, proprietary, personnel, financial, and national-security information.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a military intelligence professional supporting a Military Intelligence Service Center, Combatant Command, DIA, the FBI, a Department of Defense intelligence organization, and/or another IC agency.
- Familiarity with the Defense Intelligence Enterprise, Intelligence Community missions, and exposure to government contracting.
- Understanding of military, federal law-enforcement, Department of Defense, or IC organizations and staff processes.
- Experience in staff or mission support, operational planning, project coordination, executive support, technical writing, training, logistics, and/or business analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, research, communication, and time-management skills.
- Experience preparing briefings, reports, executive summaries, requirements, or decision-support products.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentations, collaboration platforms, project-management applications, and related business tools.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and coordinate with executive and functional leaders.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, adaptability, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Role Scope
This is an individual-contributor position without formal personnel-management or departmental authority. The Business Analyst & Strategy Specialist supports executive and functional leaders by analyzing information, coordinating activities, preparing materials, and advancing initiatives from planning through completion. Final decisions and approvals remain with the appropriate leader.
