Position Overview:
- Deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction that promotes conceptual understanding and academic growth for students in grades 5–6.
- Develop lessons that encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and confidence in mathematical concepts.
- Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to support student achievement and promote a positive classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Mathematics endorsement
- Elementary and/or middle school teaching experience preferred
