Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time Overnight Patrol Driver in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a premier commercial real estate office location, where you will conduct routine driving and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. In our agile, reliable, and innovative team, you will put people first, communicate with professionalism, and support daily operations with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and other security-related policies at a commercial office location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry points, observe on-site activity, and document incidents, observations, and security-related concerns through required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
