Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Patrol in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier financial institution location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant activity and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the lobby, common areas, offices, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry procedures and/or professional interactions with staff and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
