Job Details:
The Senior IT Operations Analyst provides advanced technical support, maintenance, and leadership for business applications. This role involves working as a SAP Logistics Consultant with a strong focus on MM, SD, and EWM areas. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage logistics processes and contribute to the design and implementation of solutions.
- 5–9 years of hands Solution design experience of SAP Internal, Inbound, and Outbound Logistics scenarios including SAP Inter Intra stock transport order scenarios)
- At least ‘1’ end to end implementations must
- Design and develop solutions for logistics processes, including Handling Units, Inventory postings, Warehouse orders, and core processes such as STOs and Sub contracting process.
- Experience in S/4HANA implementations using tools such as Migration Cockpit, Migrate your Data , API Services, or Migration Workbench.
- Expertise in RF Mobile device, Output bar code printing, including warehouse management process
- Oversee integration with third party systems, such as EDI, Snaplogic, ASRS including designing solutions and developing interfaces from scratch.
- Write functional specifications (RICEF) and test scripts to ensure quality and compliance with business requirements.
- Extract data for interfaces by leveraging strong knowledge of SAP tables and writing effective logic.
- Provide guidance on ABAP code logic and collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with functional requirements.
- Utilize ALM and Revtrac for transport management and ensure smooth deployment of changes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.
- Hands-on experience implementing data migration objects within SD, MM, PP, and PM modules.
- Experience acting as a solution architect or advisor, supporting customers in defining IT roadmaps using SAP products and services.
- Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data models and logistics processes.
- Experience across multiple industries such as Public Sector, Manufacturing, Retail, Consumer Goods, Utilities, and Automotive.
- Proven experience leading at least two complex data migration projects to SAP S/4HANA.
- Process knowledge across Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Design-to-Operate, or Hire-to-Retire.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Advanced Application Support: Provide high-level support for business applications, addressing complex user queries and resolving technical issues promptly.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex application problems, working with users and technical teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor application performance and system health, ensure applications run efficiently, and identify potential issues before they impact users.
- User Assistance and Training: Assist users with advanced application-related questions and provide training and documentation to help them effectively use the applications.
- Incident and Problem Management: Manage and prioritize incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution and stakeholder communication. Lead problem management efforts to identify and resolve recurring issues.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with development teams, IT, and other stakeholders to implement application updates, patches, and enhancements.
- Documentation and Knowledge Management: Maintain comprehensive documentation of application configurations, support procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge articles.
- Change Management: Participate in and lead change management processes, ensuring application changes are tested and deployed smoothly.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure applications comply with security policies and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and safeguards.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide junior application support analysts, providing technical expertise and support to help them develop their skills.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance application support and efficiency. Lead initiatives to implement these improvements.
- Perform other assigned job-related duties that align with our organization's vision, mission, and values and fall within your scope of practice.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience. Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of relevant and practical experience.
