Description
Bowser Collision Center is expanding and is looking for an experienced Collision Body Technician to join our growing team in Monroeville. As a Collision Body Technician, you will be responsible for restoring damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition by performing complete disassembly, structural and non-structural repairs, and reassembly according to manufacturer specifications.
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly for collision repairs.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels, frames, and structural components.
- Complete both light and heavy collision repairs following manufacturer repair procedures.
- Ensure proper fit, finish, and alignment of all repaired or replaced components.
- Read and follow repair estimates and OEM repair procedures.
- Inspect repairs throughout the repair process to ensure quality workmanship.
- Work collaboratively with estimators, painters, and other technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and manufacturer repair standards.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving collision repair technology.
Qualifications
- One to five years of collision repair experience preferred.
- Experience with vehicle disassembly, structural repairs, and reassembly.
- Knowledge of OEM collision repair procedures and industry best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality repairs.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong customer service mindset.
- Highly motivated with excellent time management skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely use collision repair equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
