Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, AHUs, RTUs, VAV systems, pumps, and building automation systems (BAS).

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, controls, and HVAC system issues to ensure equipment reliability and occupant comfort.

• Coordinate daily work assignments, monitor maintenance activities, and provide technical guidance to technicians and vendors.

• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.

• Support capital projects, equipment installations, commissioning activities, and energy-efficiency initiatives.

• Review work orders, update maintenance records in CMMS, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

• Assist with team development, training, performance feedback, and operational planning.

• Respond to emergency service requests and participate in on-call rotations as required.

Leadership Responsibilities

• Provide daily coordination and oversight of HVAC technicians and maintenance personnel, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with JLL standards.

• Assign and prioritize maintenance activities, monitor work order completion, and support operational goals and customer expectations.

• Serve as a technical lead by assisting team members with troubleshooting, problem-solving, and complex HVAC system repairs.

• Train, mentor, and develop technicians by sharing technical knowledge, supporting skill development, and promoting best practices in maintenance and safety.

• Conduct routine quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements, and site procedures.

• Coordinate with facility management, vendors, and contractors to support maintenance activities, projects, and operational improvements.

• Assist with employee performance feedback, onboarding, and workforce development initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training in HVAC or a related field preferred.

• EPA Universal Certification required.

• Minimum 7 years of commercial HVAC experience, including troubleshooting and repair of complex systems.

• Previous lead, supervisory, or team coordination experience preferred.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, BAS/BMS controls, preventive maintenance practices, and safety procedures.

• Proficiency with CMMS software and facility maintenance documentation.

This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities while supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of JLL-managed facilities.
