  • Partner with business leaders to develop realistic and actionable financial forecasts.
  • Challenge assumptions and ensure forecasts are supported by operational drivers and business plans.
  • Develop financial scenarios and sensitivity analyses to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Monitor performance against plan and identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide leadership with clear analysis of actual performance versus budget, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Drive accountability for financial commitments throughout the organization.
  • Ensure financial reporting is timely, accurate, consistent, and focused on the decisions that matter most.

Business Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to the Division President, Division CFO, and functional leadership team.
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, and other functions to understand business drivers and financial performance.
  • Challenge assumptions constructively and bring an independent financial perspective to business discussions.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities and ensure appropriate actions are developed and tracked.
  • Help leaders understand the financial implications of operational and commercial decisions.

Process Improvement & Finance Transformation

  • Support finance transformation initiatives across the division.
  • Develop and implement improved reporting and analytical tools, including automation where appropriate.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making and reduce reliance on manual and fragmented reporting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in FP&A, finance, accounting, or a related field, with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Previous experience leading or managing a finance team.

  • Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable operating in an environment where processes and structures are still being developed.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including, but not limited to, reference verification and background checks.
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in Canada.

Preferred Qualifications
