Applications Engineer

## What you’ll do:

The Applications Engineer supports the profitable growth of B-Line Series products by providing technical expertise, application engineering, and customer-focused solutions throughout the project lifecycle. This role partners with customers, sales teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to develop code-compliant, technically sound, and commercially viable solutions. The position serves as a key technical resource, delivering both pre-sales and post-sales support across engineered support and infrastructure applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership and application support for B-Line Series products throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with customers, sales teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to develop cost-effective, code-compliant engineering solutions.
• Perform project engineering activities including take-offs, bill of materials (BOM) development, product selection, quotations, specification reviews, value engineering, and project documentation.
• Prepare technical drawings, submittals, specifications, calculations, and supporting project deliverables.
• Conduct engineering analyses to validate designs and ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and product standards.
• Deliver pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including design recommendations, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Conduct customer meetings, site visits, product demonstrations, field reviews, and technical training sessions to support project success and strengthen customer relationships.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, engineering standards development, automation projects, and new product introductions.

## Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in applications engineering, design engineering, project engineering, structural engineering, or a related technical role.
• Experience with engineering support systems, product selection, take-offs, BOM development, quotations, submittals, and technical customer support.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards such as NEC, IEC, NEMA, NFPA, IBC, ASCE, CSA, ASME, UL, FM, or equivalent regional standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (or equivalent 2D drafting software) and engineering calculation methodologies.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in MEP support systems, cable management systems, non-structural supports, and seismic bracing applications.

• Experience supporting industrial, Oil & Gas, Power, Mining, Data Center, Commercial Construction, or EPC projects.

• Experience with structural analysis software (e.g., RISA-3D, STAAD.Pro), Revit, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or other 3D modeling platforms.

• Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software and advanced structural modeling techniques.

• Experience developing automation tools or process improvements using VBA, Python, Power Automate, or similar technologies.

• Amenable to work in Vertis North, Quezon City.
