  • Optimize clinical operations across the continuum of care, partnering with physician and operational leaders to strengthen coordination, access, quality, and patient experience.
  • Support the growth and evolution of clinical programs through effective resource management, performance improvement, and operational innovation.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop administrative and operational staff.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and organizational growth while building leadership capacity across the department.

Academic & Research Partnership

  • Collaborate with academic, research, and institutional leaders to support the Department's clinical, educational, and research missions.

  • Build strong relationships across faculty, operational, and executive leadership to advance departmental goals and resolve complex challenges.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee departmental budgeting, financial planning, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
  • Promote a culture of operational excellence, service, and continuous improvement.

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible healthcare administration experience required.
    • Prior leadership experience within an academic medical center, faculty practice organization, physician enterprise, or integrated health system strongly preferred.
    • Experience overseeing complex clinical operations, financial management, strategic planning, and organizational development initiatives.
    • Demonstrated success partnering with physicians, department chairs, or senior clinical leaders.
    • Neurology experience preferred; experience within similarly complex academic specialties will also be considered.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies:
    • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
    • Exceptional operational leadership and project management skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site operations and competing priorities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

    • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
    • Proven ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
    • Strong organizational awareness, professionalism, and executive presence.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and evolving environment.
    • Commitment to service excellence, operational rigor, and institutional success.
